What the project is about

The project is called “Inclusive University”. The project wants to make universities more open for all people.
Many people study and work at universities. Some people need support and some people face barriers. Our project wants to help remove these barriers.
You learn in this project:
what inclusion means,
why diversity is important,
how to work well with people who are different,
how to make learning fair for everyone.
The project has 3 main goals:
You understand inclusion and diversity.
You learn simple ideas and good examples.
You learn how to teach and work in an inclusive way.
You learn tools and ideas to help all students.
You get support to change your university.
You learn how to make your campus more friendly and easy for everyone.
The project offers:
training in small groups,
training online,
easy materials you can use again,
support from many countries.
The project wants you to feel safe, strong and included at your university.
The Work Packages (WPs)
Work Packages are big groups of tasks. Each Work Package has a goal.
Here you find a simple overview of all Work Packages.
1 – Project Management
Goal: The project runs well.
We meet online and in person.
We talk about work, time, money and tasks.
We share all information in a safe place.
We check if the project works well.
2 – Training for Teachers:
Goal: Teachers learn how to teach in an inclusive way.
This training has 4 parts:
Teachers learn the basic ideas of inclusion and diversity.
Teachers learn methods to help all students.
Teachers learn how to work with people from many cultures.
Teachers learn how to make classes and online spaces easier to use.
3 – Training for Administration and Service Staff
Goal: Members of the universities learn
how to support all students in daily work.
This training has 2 parts:
Staff learns ideas of inclusion and diversity.
They learn behaviour in diverse places.
Staff learns what universities must do to help all students.
4 – Online Course (MOODLE)
Goal: You get free online training.
The course is in English with subtitles in all project languages.
It has 4 modules about inclusion and diversity.
You can learn anytime on your computer or phone.

– helps test the trainings and collect feedback.
Western Balkans Institute (Serbia)
– works with staff and helps with inclusion topics.
Efektas Group (Lithuania)
– supports training and communication.
All partners work together.
