
Prof. Dr. Marc Beutner is chair professor of the chair Business Education II, Business Education and Evaluation Research, at the Paderborn University.
He is an expert in Higher Education, VET, and diversity education, on Teacher Education in Germany as well as on eLearning and digitisation. He is currently deputy director of the teacher training Center – PLAZ – of the Paderborn University. His work crosses several domains including VET, economy, entrepreneurship, didactics, teacher training, curriculum theory and development, new teaching and learning methods including e-learning, MOOC design and situated learning. A special focus of his work is on pedagogy and didactics, Higher Education settings, special approaches for heterogeneous groups, and instructional designs. Also the topics of internships, work placements, European Citizenship and experiences in the world of labour can be identified in his research and student teaching activities.
All of his university modules include the focus on higher education issues, VET and diversity education, media didactics and digitisation. He is working in international context for more than 20 years.

Saskia Happ is a research associate and doctoral candidate at the Chair of Business Education and Evaluation Research at Paderborn University. She coordinates the program “Studying Economics before the Abitur” and has been serving as the equal opportunities officer for the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics since October 2025.
After completing her vocational training as a bank clerk, she pursued teacher education for vocational colleges at Paderborn University with majors in English and Economics. She is now undertaking her doctoral studies, with a research focus on inclusion. Her work centers particularly on inclusive teaching as well as teaching about inclusion in both schools and higher education.
