Dr. Cemile DOGAN

Dr. Cemile DOGAN graduated from the Department of Foreign Languages Education (Middle East Technical University) and she has been working as an academic for more than 20 years. She holds her MA and PhD in English Language Teaching.

Besides working at several universities to teach various courses to diverse groups, she participated and presented in international training programs, EU projects, conferences and workshops in Turkiye and abroad. She has international/national book chapters on mostly educational topics from designing educational programs, continuous professional development models to measurement and evaluation in teaching. She worked at University of Amsterdam Research Center as a visiting scholar and provided courses for Erasmus training programs in the Netherlands.

She previously worked as an assistant manager of Necmettin Erbakan University Foreign Relations Office. She completed a higher education EU Virtual Exchange program entitled ‘TEP 67’, a project for ‘Empowered Women for Rural Development (EW4RD) numbered 2020-1-HUO1- KA204-078752 and Act Communicate and Transcend (ACT) Project numbered 2020-1-HR01-KA227-SCH- 094792 and recently in HAWKING — ERASMUSEDU-2023-CBHE Project numbered 101128741. She is also the coordinator of an Erasmus+ KA220-HE project titled INCLUSIVE-UNI (about promoting inclusive campuses) and an Erasmus+ CBHE project titled MIGRATURITY (Building Capacity of Sub-Saharan Africa HEIs in Addressing Migrations and Security Issues). Dr. Şeyma AKIN

Dr. Şeyma AKIN is a faculty member at Necmettin Erbakan University, Faculty of Political Sciences in Konya/Türkiye.

She completed her PhD in sociology of religion, in which she studied the change in the attitudes of observant religious businesspeople. She was a post-doctoral fellow at Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel, between October 2022 and February 2023. Her fields of interest are religion and modernity, social change and identity, migration, and urbanisation. She is also interested in discourse and power relations and has analyzed the perceptions of Western media outlets regarding the coup of February 28,1997. She was the institutional Erasmus coordinator of Necmettin Erbakan University from 2019–2023 and is part of Erasmus projects related to diversity and inclusion. She did a post-doc study on Orthodox Jewry in Israel at Hebrew University.

She is currently a researcher in three Erasmus+ projects; one Erasmus+ Capacity Building at Higher Education, titled HAWKING (facilitating inclusion and digitalization of students with disabilities at secondary and higher education), an Erasmus+ KA220-HE projects titled INCLUSIVE-UNI (about promoting inclusive campuses) and an Erasmus+ CBHE project titled MIGRATURITY (Building Capacity of Sub-Saharan Africa HEIs in Addressing Migrations and Security Issues). Dr. Hayriye ULAŞ TARAF

Dr. Hayriye ULAŞ TARAF works in the School of Foreign Languages at Necmettin Erbakan University. She holds her PhD, MA, and BA in English Language Teaching. With her 18 years of accumulated teaching experience, she has expertise in educational programme design and curriculum development, educational technology, and materials development and adaptation.

She is currently a researcher in five different Erasmus+ projects; two of which are within the programme of Erasmus+ Capacity Building at Higher Education, titled HAWKING (about facilitating inclusion and digitalization of students with disabilities at secondary and higher education), and MIGRATURITY (Building Capacity of Sub-Saharan Africa HEIs in Addressing Migrations and Security Issues) and two Erasmus+ KA220-HE projects titled E-Stories and INCLUSIVE-UNI (former for the language acquisition and inclusion of immigrant students, and later for promoting inclusive campuses), and also a KA220-SCH targeted at the innovative programme development for STEM practices.
